of its profits to law enforcement agencies to help them purchase bulletproof vests for their officers.

Police departments across the nation offer a program for the general public called Citizens Police Academy. It is a several week course designed to educate citizens about the challenges police face and provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the life of the police.
